The Charities we support:

40K Foundation Australia

40K is a youth led, Australian based, non-profit organisation that takes on joint venture projects to reduce poverty in developing communities around the world. Having completed their maiden project, Project Bangalore – a school for 200 severely underprivileged children in the north of Bangalore- 40K has now turned it’s attention to a much bigger picture – investing in the most cost-effective, poverty-reducing education programs to scale them into new parts of south India.

Ku-ring-gai Youth Development Service Inc.

Ku-ring-gai Youth Development Service – KYDS, is a free youth counselling service for 12 – 18 year olds and their families on Sydney’s North Shore.  The KYDS vision is to improve the health and well-being of young people on Sydney’s North Shore.  They do this by providing professional and accessible counselling services, youth development and education which promotes positive change for young people and their families.

Cancer Council Australia

Cancer affects the lives of so many of us both directly and indirectly and for this reason we are committed to support the work of the Cancer Council in their mission to help prevent, detect and treat cancer in Australia.

At Peter Vickers Business Group we are pleased to support the Cancer Council’s Daffodil Day and each year organise a Biggest Morning Tea which is attended by our team and other companies who are neighbours in our building in Lindfield.

Employment 

Peter Vickers Business Group has contributed to the Sydney Employment Development Service (SEDS) Transition to Work Program and is recognised by the Cerebral Palsy Alliance for the opportunity we have provided in employment.

We have an ongoing programme of Year 10 Work Experience Placements and have hosted students from a range of schools in Sydney and the North Shore.  We are pleased to be able to introduce these individuals to the working environment in a firm which offers a full range of financial services to small and medium sized companies, individuals and trusts.

Ku-ring-gai Chase and Barry Easy Walk

In March 2018, we were pleased for the third year running, to support a very local event in support of Special Olympics Sydney Upper North Shore.  This charity makes a positive impact on the quality of life of over 600 children and adults with an intellectual disability every year. Sport is such an integral part of life in Australia and has such a positive effect on our physical and mental well-being so we were happy to be able to help make it accessible to more young people with special needs through this great initiative.  

And this year, Peter Vickers Business Group entered a team of 20 colleagues, their partners and children.
