COMMUNICATIONS WITH OUR CLIENTS

Due to the intrusion of Covid-19 into our lives, our procedures for communication with clients has had to change. We have thus taken on zoom meetings instead of live meetings. The accounts were presented on a shared screen rather than on paper.

Various documents for signature were sent by our MYOB Client Portal rather than by mail. We found that this system has issues in that not all documents can be sent for signature and the tax agent is unable to sign as well as the taxpayer. Also the MYOB designed methodology required another password and tick an obscure box at the bottom with some clients finding this too tedious to do.

Our firm’s policy is to find the simplest method to communicate with clients and thus save our clients unnecessary costs. However we also take the view that you are our client and we will provide our services the way you want. Of course on the proviso that if you want a bit extra that you are also willing to pay a bit extra.

We still maintain the one on one real meeting as this assists clients to get the advice that they really desire and need.

Our office has been paperless for about 14 years and we keep your records electronically. However paper still has a place in communicating with clients as it is easier to read than a screen. We still have a way to go before the IT people have perfected the cloud.

ALL VACCINATED

All team members at Peter Vickers Business Group are vaccinated. That is 100%. We are now getting our third vaccination as well as arranging for our children over 5 to get vaccinated. Thus your affairs will not be effected by illness or worst still death occurring in our office due to Covid-19. As leaders in the business community we encourage all clients to ensure that they and their staff and their customers and families are vaccinated. This is what leadership is about and leadership does matter and is the difference between life and death.
